Welcome!Welcome to my page at Elbow Tree Christian Counseling!! I’m glad you’re here because it means you are looking for a place to grow, change, and find healing and hope.
I am honored to be able to walk along side you as you start this journey. Please read below about who I am, what types of situations I enjoy working with, and how you can get started. Courtney |
As a counselor, I am passionate about creating a safe space for individuals to work through issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, boundaries, grief, life transitions, and other places where we experience pain and brokenness. I consider it an honor to walk alongside you and offer you support towards growth and healing. I believe that we are broken and hurt in relationships and we are healed in relationships. This is why I believe that individuals are best able to find healing through a safe place where they can explore the challenges they are facing. I consider it such an honor to be entrusted with each person’s story and to be able to walk alongside you through some of life’s deepest hurts and joys.
Below is a little more information about the clients I see and how to schedule an appointment with me. If you think we might be a good fit, please give me a call and we can talk more about what you’re hoping to get out of counseling.

You should know ahead of time I work with a partner! Meet Teddy. Teddy is a Double Doodle (1/2 Golden, 1/2 Lab) and a Star Puppy with the American Kennel Club. As a participant in your counseling session, he will be a faithful, calm and steady presence at each appointment and will provide some of the positive energy and vibes that only our K9 friends can do.

scheduling
I do all of my own scheduling. I have a variety of times available throughout the week. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to schedule online. You'll be able to see my available slots and grab one for yourself, as well as leave me personal note if you wish. If the online scheduler is giving you trouble, or if you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to text, call or email. My office is located in the Southern Saddlery Building at 3069 Broad St.
payment
Sessions are $135 and last 50 minutes. I accept cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards and health savings account cards. I don't participate in any insurance networks, but I can give you a receipt with CPT and diagnostic codes that you can file yourself and possibly get a rebate back - based on your insurance plan.
Intake forms
I use a software called SimplePractice for my scheduling and paperwork. You can Click the button "Request an Appointment" if you haven’t already. There, you can sign up for a time to schedule and once I approve your appointment, it will send you a link to the portal and you can access all the paperwork you will need to sign. I will go over the Authorization of Treatment with you together when we meet.
