Hi there - thanks so much for visiting my site and for your interest in working together. You are the reason Greg and I started Elbow Tree, years ago. My hope is to help you navigate your way to our first appointment with confidence.
I spend the majority of my time running Elbow Tree Therapeutic K9's, but I do carry a small load of counseling clients as well! If you need a counseling appointment beyond my availability, get in touch with me. April |
Please send any sensitive or personal information to my email, which is encrypted at the highest level and offers maximum security.
scheduling
I do all of my own scheduling. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to schedule online (In person only. Established clients may request a virtual appointment.) You can see my available slots and grab one for yourself. If the online scheduler is giving you trouble, or if you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to text, call or email.
*E-mail me first, if:
1). You'd like to be placed on the standby list.
2) You are a new client wanting to set up a first appointment.
3) You are an established client and you would like one of my virtual appts on Monday or Friday.

Sessions are $135 and last 50 minutes. I accept cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards and health savings account cards. I don't participate in any insurance networks, but I can give you a receipt with CPT and diagnostic codes that you can file yourself and possibly get a rebate back - based on your insurance plan.

a little more about me...
As a wife and a parent of 5 children, 3 of whom are adopted, I am in the same life phase of many of the clients I see. Much of what I will teach you is the same skill I use in my own personal life, in my marriage and as a parent. I've become convinced that the change people really want can only come from the inside out, so I will aim at your heart in counseling. When the heart changes, then the mind and outside life can also change!
With my specialization in trauma, I am equipped to help you through things that have been painful or overwhelming in your life story. This could include abuse, abandonment, betrayal, rejection, critical incidents and more. As an adoptive parent, I am also passionate about helping adoptive families live to their fullest potential!
It is one of mine and Greg's highest privileges to enter into the sacred ground of your story. We consider ourselves a mom and pop shop and are confident that you'll feel at home with us. We look forward to seeing you!
