Welcome! The fact that you’re here represents the hope that you hold for something different. Whether you are hoping for healing, change, insight, or something else, I hope to join you and create a safe space for you to explore, rest, and grow. One of the greatest parts of my work is helping people learn to turn toward their stories, problems, and desires with a curious ear. Often, we try to achieve change by trying to force or “white-knuckle” ourselves into being different. The idea of listening to our stories can feel uncomfortable. We tend to avoid places of discomfort or pain, but our places of pain and wounding can often reveal more of what we need in order to show up differently in the world.
I’d love to join you in the challenges, hard questions, and places pinned down by shame to help you show up in your relationships in a new way. Below, you’ll find some more details about working with me, but if you have questions about working with me, please reach out! I’d love to connect and talk with you more to see if we would be a good fit. Allie |

I do all of my own scheduling. I have a variety of times available throughout the week. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to schedule online. You'll be able to see my available slots and grab one for yourself, as well as leave me personal note if you wish. If the online scheduler is giving you trouble, or if you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to text, call or email. My office is located in the Southern Saddlery Building at 3069 Broad St.

Sessions are $110 and last 50 minutes. See pricing and location in the main menu for other related costs. I accept cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards and health savings account cards. I do not participate in any insurance networks and as a pre-licensed professional I am not yet able to offer diagnostic receipts for reimbursement.
Intake forms
Take a look at the 6 documents below. (#3 and #5 are long, complex documents required by the Federal Government. I'll put them into laymen's terms for you at the office. You've likely seen similar documents from other healthcare providers.)
- Fill out #1 and email to me - or complete at the office.
- Read #2, #3, and #4 ahead of time (sign electronically at the office - no need to print these out)
- If you need me to speak with a 3rd party - fill out and email #6 to me - or fill out at the office.
A little Bit more about me...
I am a life-long lover of sharing and listening to stories, which is part of what brought me into the counseling field. There can be a painful, and sometimes terrifying vulnerability, to beginning the process of putting words to some of our feelings and stories even in our closest relationships. The work of processing and change was designed to be done in relationships. Telling your story to someone who genuinely desires to join and understand you is spiritually, relationally, and even biologically transformative. Change happens when we feel safe enough to be vulnerable, ask new questions, and open ourselves up to a new experience.
I have personally experienced how curiosity and compassion create a deeper experience of healing than judgment and shame ever could. My hope is that our relationship can be a safe place for you to learn to put words to your story, so that in your own time and at your own pace, you can take risks outside of the counseling relationship and show up in new, brave, and vulnerable ways in your life. I hope that you’ll feel honored, understood, and cared for in our time together.
When I’m not working, you could find me hiking, painting, or having coffee and conversation with a dear friend.
